Brief
This project was a semester-long exploration of Sara Fanelli’s illustration style and design philosophy. My goal was to translate her playful, layered collages into a cohesive system of editorial spreads, posters, and visual materials for a hypothetical exhibition celebrating her work.

Reflection
Working with Sara Fanelli’s language pushed me to loosen my structure and embrace hand-made imperfection. I learned how collage can act as a storytelling device, not just decoration, and how layering textures can still maintain hierarchy and readability. This project strengthened my ability to merge analog and digital methods while keeping the design playful and coherent.
